Our Mission

Our objectives are to spread awareness of the positive ethical, health, and environmental benefits of a plant-based diet, to create a community on campus, and to provide resources about plant-based living at the University of Arizona (and in Tucson in general). We seek to inspire change on a systemic and individual level, considering animal agriculture, animal testing, animal entertainment, and all other forms of animal cruelty.

We put those objectives into practice through events like get-togethers for food or volunteering, discussion nights, outreach, social events, promoting local businesses, guest speakers, and whatever else seems fun and/or informative.

We recently started work on one of our overarching club goals, bringing more vegan options to campus, and it’s going well so far! You can read about it here.

If you’re curious about the club, feel free to stop by! We’re open to everyone and would love to have you!
